Hi super workers🔨!! I am Carmen Díaz 👷and this week I am in charge of this GREAT role!!
From my point of view being journalist is a really cool role 😎

First, this task was one of the best ones, because we just had to use our creativity!! 🙌
On Monday Linda explained to us what we had to do, and we had to choose which type of comic we wanted to use for summarizing the subject.
Via WhatsApp we decided that we wanted Before-After, however, we were the 7th group in choosing which one we wanted, and what a surprise!! No one choose it, so it was peeerrfect! Lucky Architeachers 🎉
During our second class, we had lots of ideas about the previous tasks, so we wrote them down in a paper and then decided which ones were the best ones. (only 2 ideas per task, 10 in total).
At the end of the class we already knew what we wanted to represent in our before-after comic, but we did not know if we were going to take our own photos. Finally we decided that taking our own photos was funnier and also a better way to save time (remember that searching for photos with Cc-license is not easy...) !!!

On Tuesday (as every Tuesday) we went to the cubicle and decided how we were going to take the photos. Some photos were done in the cubicle and others in different classrooms (we went to one and WRITE THE WHOLE BLACKBOARD, and then a teacher came, and thirty seconds later THE WHOLE CLASS, so it was embarrassing) so, we went to another class...
As we were taking the photos, Maria Ángela stayed in the cubicle editing the photos with PicsArt.
After editing the photos with different apps, we put text on them, and finally we join three photos together, and we had LOTS of problems 😣😣, because part of the photo was cut, or the text...
In conclusion, we had to edit again nearly ALL of the photos 😭

Half of our team left at 17:30 so some of us, as you can see here, stayed UNTIL 9 O'CLOCK!

We stayed until 9 because the library closed, but we continued at home... because we had a lot of problems editing the photos 😩
When we finally had the photos ready, we had EVEN MORE problems in putting them together in a word document or in a page, because they were not straight, not squared, so it was really annoying.
Finally we decided that the best option was to stay Wednesday morning in the library in order to finish our comic.
We could manage to do it in a PowerPoint, and the we went to print it.
The final result was AMAZING!! It really looked as a comic!

Then, in class, our classmates did their presentations, and I have to CONGRATULATE EVERY SINGLE GROUP!! Every comic was super original and cool! All of my class members are brilliant!
I really enjoyed this week and task.

Later on we had to decide which kind of comic we preferred in order to represent the best part of this subject (only one idea), so we chose Magazine covers! This was our final result:

We also had to say what was the worst thing of this subject and of course, as I already mentioned USING SO MANY INTERNET TOOLS 🔎!! because you may think it is easy, but if you have never used them before it is a bit messy and complicated 😟

Being the journalist is a complex role, because you need to take a lot of photos, and take note of everything during the week! But is nice because you see all your progress and how we improve.

📈 A N A L Y S T

 Hi everyone! I am MªÁngela and this time I am going to be the analyst of this gorup.
This week we had to do the task of: "Cartooning the subject until now".
At first we found it a little bit boring and also abstract. But when we choose the tip "BEFORE- AFTER" we found it more interesting. At the end we had a lot of fun. Taking the pictures, imitating faces, thinking about how we were going to make the comic, etc.

On tuesday we got a little opressed because we thought it was going to be an easy task but when we started to edit the photos to make the comic we found it too difficult.

The best part of the week was on wednesday, our star represented us great. The rest of the group did it well too.
Other groups congratulated us our work. We gladdered it a lot.
At the end of the expositons Linda made us different questios, so we had o write it in a spiece of papper, and this was the result of it:


In brief after doing the task we found it funny and interesting.

👷 T H E T A S K

Hi ArchiLearners!! 💁💁

We are going to explain to you what is our sixth task about. The main objective of this task was to summarize all the contents that we have explored from the beginning of the course until now and we have to represent them using one of the different types of Graphical novel offered. We decided to choose the before and after graphical novel because we believed that this type was very useful to show how things have progressed.

First of all, we have to decide the 10 key concepts that we were going to represent, so we decided to choose two concepts of one of the different task done.

Now we are going to show you our work.

From the fist task, "conceptual photography" we decided to choose two different ideas that we and our classmates have about what education means.

Our second task was about "TPACK" so in order to show the reasons why TPACK is so important we decided to take two photos, one of them focus on how technology has been introduced in today classes and the other one was about pedagogy some years before and nowadays.

The third task was about  "Media is not neutral" all that this statement refers to, such as the different types of map projections. Moreover, in this task we were able to discover what is a Treasure Hunt.

The fourth task was focused on free resources that we could find on Interent and also we have to selcet different topics that can help us to do a good presentation, here it is the two transitions related to this task.

About the fifth task, " The dark side of textbooks" we have decided to represent only one photograph which shows that nowadays are mainly a bussiness,

We decided to represent the main idea of the fifth task with only transition because we wanted to keep one transition in order to represent what we have learnt in this course, but we wanted to show something that we have not learnt with the task, it is related to the way in which we work in this course.

My name is Carmen Albaladejo and this week I am the translator of ArchiTeachers. The main objective of this task was to summarize all the concepts that we have  learnt from the beginning of the  course until now and we have to represent them using different types of graphical novels. Now  I am going to present you the 5 key concepts of this task.

✔️Summarize consists of determining what are the main topics or the most important ones about a particular thing, in this case the topics must be selected from the different tasks that we have already done or about the course in general.However, those topics which have been chosen not only could be the most important ones but also those things that we will never forget and could be very useful to our future as primary education teachers.

✔️ Graphical novel is basically a book that includes comics. Yet, we usually tend to understand the term "novel" to long writtens this is not the same case, moreover a graphical novel is one of the most common ways to tell stories using a comic format or images.

✔️ Before/after is a sort of graphical novel so it is very common to use it to tell stories.More than for telling stories, before and after is much more useful to see the transition between two specific moments. It allows you to see how something was some time ago and how the same thing is nowadays.

✔️ Magazine cover, this type od graphical novel received this name because the magazine novel is the base where the story will be told or the topic or item will be represented. It is very useful if you want to see different statements related with a particular topic only at a glance.

✔️Comic is used to tell stories through different panels which contains illustrations and in many ocasions little descriptions are used in order to make it understood easier.

Welcome again! 🎆

Hi archilearners , I am Maria Del Mar and  this week I will be the Facilitator but not the boss of the Architeachers, as we don't need a single faciliatator, that is, all of us share this role individually.

Anyway, this week we were asked to do a kind of comic where we would capture the evolution suffered by the key concepts we have already studied till now throughout the different tasks.

From my point of view, the organization and structure of the task is the most important aspect, as well as, it turns out to be sometimes difficult to achieve efficiently.

This week was a bit mess, as we have plenty of problems to edit the photos we were supposed to include in  the sketch of our comic. But unleast we were able to do it using other editor. However, we were all very nervous because of this little problem.

Apart from the feelings and the development of the task, I want to make a little reflection to think about this week and use it for improve and be more efficient.

I have already mentioned that in our case there is no a single faciliator of the task, but indeed I consider a good idea to give more importance to the facilitator and, in any case, pay attention all the time to her instructions. In my case, I don't feel priviledge at all because I can't organise all the work, as there are many problems with time and resources.

To sum up, I want to stan out the importance of time and the knowledge about our abilities and capabilities to take pride of them. Also, we are not going to forget to pay attention to our weaknesses.

Nevertheless, I think that this week was not awful at all because at the end we were able to present perfectly the task as we solved the problems immediately. 

I'm very proud of you arhiteachers, we are a great team!
