📂 F A C I L I T A T O R

Hey guys, I'm Maria del Mar Fernández Rodríguez and this week I will be the facilitator.
Firstly, welcome again to our blog!. This week we have to work on the TPACK model, so the whole class had to make a poster. Meanwhile the two stars were explaining our poster to the visitors, the rest of the team gave feedbacks to the rest of the groups after their exposition.

The first group we visited was the Superstar Teachers. Cristina and Paula explained to us TPACK with a diagram. After that, we had to give them some feedbacks, let's start:

  • What did we like the most? From this group, we loved the type of poster they had choosen and the way of expressing all the concepts needed, as they used many images to illustrate their ideas for our better understanding.
  • Advise: From our point of view and despite they were a bit nervous, we considered a good idea to stablish a kind of interaction when they have to talk to make the presentation a bit more pleasant and, in the case of one of the star, we recommended her not to be distract when the other person is talking.
  • Our poster and theirs were similar but not equal, as they used a diagram and also because we made our poster a bit more interactive( with the jigsaw) and they only had one item with this characteristic.

In the second round we were with the Spiky Teachers whose stars were Sara and Clara.

  • What did we like the most?: We loved the idea of this giant screen and the moment when Clara was talking and Sara was pointed at the screen what she mentioned.
  • Advise:It could be a great idea to put the general concept (TPACK) in the center and stand out the main components of it.
  • In order to mention some differences, we did not have this size for our poster and neither the idea of projecting the screen. In their case, they did not put examples and why is usefull TPACK for our degree in the poster.
The third one was Starfish with Alejandra and Celia. At the beginning we did not understand very well the poster but after the explanation we were impressed.

  • What did we like the most?: The format of the poster was lovely and also, when they were explaining it was very easy to follow them as its exposition was very clear and organized.
  • Advise: It is clear that it was because of the situation, but they should try to present themselves at the beginning.
  • What about differences?  In our group, we have a different type of poster, but it is true that in our work we did not include our personal opinion. In their case, they did not include in the poster the context and why it is usefull for our degree.
The fourth one was Ladies and Gentlemen with Mitchy and Samuel.
  • What did we like the most?: One of the stars, had lots of loquacity and also they were clear, brief and concise.
  • Advise: To stablish a better connection between the items and, for one of the Stars, we recommended him not to do other things while he would be talking as it distract the listeners.
  • What about differences?: They did not include examples with illustrations and also, they wrote too much and small in the poster.

Awrrrr!!!!! The Wildcats arrived with Patricia and Javi.
  • What did we like the most?: It was lovely the interest of those stars on us, that is, he was the only one who asked us about our possbile doubts and questions.
  • Advise: Not to be distract when the other person is talking.
  • What about differences?: In our group we didn't express the relationship between the components with a diagram.

Glup, Glup.. Fishers in the river was the sixth one with Julia and Tamara.
  • What did we like the most?: It was really colourfull, enjoyable, easy to understand and creative.
  • Advise: It is necessary a presentation individually at first. In the case of one of the stars, she didn't talk very loud so it was difficult to follow her, also she stammered in some ocassions and interrupted the presentation with spanish words.
  • What about differences?: The neither included the context in the poster.
Spacers 2.0 was the seventh group with Ana and Melania.
  • What did we like the most?: They didn't stammered and the rythm of the speech was really nice.
  • Advise: Link the concepts between them and do not forget the context.
  • What about differences?: They have included a great historical foundation, so for this reason they justified the lack of a closed cycle.

The last but not least was Flower Power with Veronica and Aintzane.
  • What did we like the most?: We loved their poster and their amazing idea of giving us a detail, a super flower!
  • Advise: The individual presentation, only.
  • What about differences?: We did not include in the poster specific examples of why TPACK can be usefull in our degree but we mentioned orally.
To conclude, I only wanted to say that we were very impressed with the creativity we saw in the posters and how it can be expressed in many, many different ways.
Congratulations for all of the Stars of this second week, you couldn't have done it better.
